Meets Wednesdays from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at LYSB
First meeting November 1. Weekly subgroups will meet on specific projects. YAC is a community service organization open to all high school students interested in helping out in their community. Each year, the group participates in a variety of activities including sponsoring dances and events for high schoolers, adopting families for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and many community projects that come our way. YAC also fundraises for the Youth Advisory Council Community Scholarship which is awarded to graduating seniors who have shown a commitment to community service. Not just for LOLHS students, YAC welcomes members from other high schools or home schoolers who live in Lyme and Old Lyme. Join us any Wednesday night at YAC!
