YOUTH THEATER WORKSHOP

For kids entering grades 3 to 7, Fee $175

LYSB’s Youth Theater Workshop provides students with structured instruction in the performing arts through classes in acting, voice, movement, improvisation, and musical theater techniques. Participants will build confidence, develop communication and stage skills, and collaborate with peers in a supportive educational environment. Daily sessions are led by an experienced drama coach and college theater students and include theater exercises, scene work, introductory dance and performance activities, and supervised visual arts projects connected to theater themes. The workshop concludes with an informal studio-style presentation for family and friends showcasing skills and material explored during the week. Scholarships available for L/OL residents.
